About Zack Neuman
as written by Corbett McKinney
Zack exudes the sort of simple assuredness in that the universe will right itself that you might expect from an ascetic monk or classical philosopher; few things are quite as calming as sitting across from him with a mug of freshly-brewed tea and waxing poetic about everything and nothing. Yet he can pivot from this pithy introspection on a dime and display a wry and subtle sense of humor that leaves stitches in your side. He inspires curiosity in whatever is captivating him (usually his most favorite recent film and the ideas that it implies) by sharing thoughts on the object of his fascination and how it might relate to you. This thoughtfulness naturally lends itself to a respect and empathy for the history of film and photography that is as clear in his own work as it is in his efforts to restore that of others. Zack is, simply put, a river to his people.
About Zack Neuman
as written by Oscar Becher
Zack has the unique ability to be loved and respected by everyone he works with. His effortless ability to lead is only matched by his passion for film history and his thorough knowledge of both digital and analog photographic processes. Beyond his appreciation for films of the past, Zack has his finger on the pulse of contemporary cinema and will unassumingly introduce those around him to new diverse voices in the medium. Beyond his professionalism and compassion, his creative vision is immaculate, organized and daring which makes him an asset to any project he is a collaborator on.
